About Deep Creek Academy
Deep Creek Academy (DCA), like Deep Creek Baptist Church (DC Church) is aimed at helping people find the love of God and the friendship of others in Jesus Christ. Here are some things that DCA and the church believes and practices.
School History
The Deep Creek Baptist Weekday Preschool was started as a ministry of Deep Creek Baptist Church in 2006, as a means of providing preschool education and care for children, beginning at age 3. We began as a ½ day preschool program. Deep Creek Academy (DCA) has now grown to include half and full-day Preschool, full-day Kindergarten, before and after school programs and summer camp.
In 2012, the school adopted the new name, Deep Creek Academy. From its inception, Deep Creek Academy’s curriculum and educational philosophy has always be congruent with the Christian faith, and Southern Baptist Principles.
Deep Creek Academy has been and continue to be a high-quality, Christian-based early education program meeting the faith and educational needs of families in the Greater South Hampton Roads Community.
