Preschool
We use the First Look/ Orange faith-based curriculum in our preschool classrooms. Using monthly themes and play centers, our loving PreK teachers guide our youngest learners to love God and others, and appreciate exploring His creation while continually building their skills in every developmental domain. Guided by the Milestones of Child Development and the VA Foundation Blocks for Early Learning (VDSS), our teachers are equipped to help your young learner to grow and develop their skills through age-appropriate activities both in our kid-friendly classrooms and in outdoor exploration stations around our beautiful campus.
Kindergarten
Our full-day kindergarten program offers an affordable, high quality learning experience using a balance of teacher-directed instruction and child directed learning. Our core curriculum is Starfall, a research-based program which meets ( and often exceeds) state learning standards and benchmarks. Using this phonics-based program, students learn to read and write along with class mascot, Backpack Bear. Our low student-teacher ratio and the blend of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning center experiences prepare our students to make a successful transition into elementary school. Students thrive in our program which integrates Bible, Reading, Social Studies, Math, Music, Art, Technology, and Physical Education in our daily lessons. Off-campus field trips provide our students opportunities to expand the learning experience and practice developing social skills. Students participate in a Bridging-to-First Grade ceremony during the musical program at the end of the school year.
Summer Camp
Our Summer Camp program is nine weeks of structured, thematic activities created to engage children through the summer months. Activities include arts and crafts, music, bike and helmet day, science experiments, special visitors and entertainment, cooking, water play, tasty treats, and field trips (school age only).
Before and After Care
Our Before & After School Care program offers a structured yet relaxed environment where students are able to prepare for their day, unwind after their school day, interact with friends, work on homework, and participate in other activities – including physical exercise and Bible study.
Day Care Days are not included in tuition prices. They are an additional 28 dollars.
